Spring 2013

The boys were on the same t-ball team again this Spring.  It makes it so nice and convenient when they are on the same team.
They were on the Bulldogs team.  They both improved a lot since fall ball and they both got to play in the infield this season.
Charlie played third base while Brayden played second base.  They both became better hitters this year hitting mainly off of coach pitch instead of using the T.  It was a great year and they had lots of fun.   I do however think that Charlie's favorite part was the free ice pop after each game.

 

 

The season ended the weekend before school was out so that was kind of a bummer.  It really is not a summer sport any more at all.

I am so happy that the boys are playing baseball.  Since softball was such a HUGE part of my life it is nice that they like to play too.

Birthday Parties with friends

Brayden chose to have a bowling party.  It was a lot of fun watching 4 and 5 year olds bowling.  They were so cute.   He stuck with the them Angry Birds Star Wars.  It was a very hard theme to work with because there is not much out there as far as Angry Bird Star Wars Party supplies.  So we combined his theme with Angry Birds Space.  I mean Star Wars is space, right??    It worked and he had a terrific 5th birthday.

 

 

Charlie wanted to have a Legos Star Wars Party so we used Bricks 4 Kidz company.  It was wonderful!!!  She came to my house and had all these cool Lego and Space and Star Wars games all ready for the kids.  They played and played with her big box of Legos and then they worked in pairs to make a model.  They then used their model and Lego figures to race them  on a zip line.  The zip line ran from up stairs down into our kitchen.  The kids LOVED it!!!!

Then they played Lego games on the deck and used Light Sabers that I had made as party favors to play in the yard.  It was a wonderful party.  If you have access to a Bricks 4 Kidz near you I highly recommend you check it out.
